Heard From the Classroom.
Teachers, directors, and school leaders share what it's been like to bring Chancy & Bruce into their classrooms.
I have taught TK for 18 years, and this is the first curriculum that truly feels developmentally aligned with how four- and five-year-olds actually learn. It is comprehensive without being overwhelming. Every lesson connects to fine motor, language, executive functioning, and social-emotional growth seamlessly. I spend significantly less time prepping and more time observing and engaging with my students. I feel confident that my class is not just learning letters — they are building the foundational pathways that prepare them for kindergarten success.

What I appreciate most is how all-encompassing it is. It's not just academics. It addresses auditory memory, visual discrimination, expressive language, and social skills in a way that feels natural and playful. My teachers feel supported because the planning is thoughtful and intentional. Prep time has decreased, but instructional quality has increased. Parents are noticing the difference.
Debbie Adams
Preschool Director
I was hesitant at first because I value hands-on, child-centered learning. What surprised me is how beautifully this curriculum honors that philosophy. The activities are purposeful, hands-on, and developmentally appropriate. It builds readiness without pushing children beyond where they should be. I feel confident that my students are ready for kindergarten in a way that protects their love of learning.

Montessori Classroom Teacher
The structure gives me clarity. I know exactly what to teach, why I'm teaching it, and what skill it's developing underneath. It integrates literacy exposure without forcing it. The progression is thoughtful. My students are more confident, independent, and socially aware by the end of the year. And I am not staying up late reinventing lessons and pulling from 4 different curriculums.

Private Christian School — TK Teacher
As a new teacher, this curriculum gave me confidence. It feels like having a mentor built into the lesson plans. Everything is organized, intentional, and aligned to real developmental milestones. I'm not scrambling for Pinterest and TPT ideas. I can focus on building relationships because the planning is done for me. I truly feel like I am setting my students up for kindergarten success.

First-Year Teacher
The students who come from classrooms using this curriculum stand out. They know how to listen, follow multi-step directions, regulate their emotions, and engage in purposeful play. Their fine motor skills are strong. Their auditory processing is solid. They are ready. It's clear they've had developmentally sound preparation — not rushed academics.

Our biggest challenge was balancing rigor with developmentally appropriate practice. This curriculum solves that tension. It builds foundational pathways first and layers academic exposure in a way that feels natural. The consistency week to week creates security for children and clarity for teachers. It has simplified our planning meetings tremendously.
Lorinda Jones
TK Lead Teacher
I love that it honors play while being intentional. Every activity has purpose. It's not busy work. It's pathway development. My prep bins are organized, my materials are reusable, and I feel calm walking into each week. The curriculum supports the whole child — socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.

Preschool Teacher — Play-Based Program
We use the Spanish version, so the curriculum focuses on listening skills, discrimination, memory, and comprehension — it supports all learners, including our multilingual students. It's structured enough to provide consistency but flexible enough to meet children where they are. I feel assured that my students are entering kindergarten confident, capable, and developmentally ready.
